Orange is not bad luck, it is the pigment that lives underneath your colour. When a medium brown is lifted, what appears underneath is orange-red. If nobody neutralises it with the right tone, that pigment stays. That is why I read your level and your underlying tone before mixing anything.

Lightening always opens the hair fibre, and anyone who says otherwise is lying. The difference is how much it opens and what protects it. Balayage is painted in sections, it does not cover the whole head, and I work with a bond protector on every lightening service.

Yes. Colour correction is what I do most. Patches, bands, hot roots, green ends. I need to see it before giving you a plan, because every case starts from a different place. Send me a photo in natural light and I will tell you the truth.

It depends where you are starting from. From a natural brown to a luminous balayage, almost always yes. From a black box dye to blonde, no — and anyone who tells you otherwise is going to burn your hair. In that case we make a plan in stages.
